Muntakhab al-anwar al-mudi`ah fir dhikr al-hujja
[A Selection of illuminating beams of light in dealing with Imam al-Mahdi]

The original book was written by the late Allama Sayyid Baha’ al-Din `Ali b. `Abd al-Karim b. `Abd al-Hamid al-Nili al-Najafi (living 803 AH/ 1400), hence one of the sources of al-Majlisi’s magnum opus Bihar al-anwar. Comprised of 12 chapters on the 12th Infallible Imam al-Mahdi, this volume has been edited with extensive scholarly footnotes by the research teams at Imam al-Hadi Institute. It answers doubts cast about Imam al-Mahdi. In addition to numerous Quranic verses, answers in favor of Imam al-Mahdi are extracted especially from Sunnite sources, both in the main text and in the footnotes. The book has a copious bibliography that catalogs the Sunnite and Shiite sources used.
